Description of the Bladder and Bowel Care Service service
The Bladder and Bowel Care Service is a nurse led community based service that provides specialist assessments and advice regarding bladder and bowel dysfunction.
Who can access the service?
Any child or adult living in Warrington or having a Warrington GP.
How can people access the service?
Paediatrics – a referral can be made (on the correct referral form) into the Bladder and Bowel Care Service by a School Health Advisor or Health Visitor once they have completed a Baseline Assessment.
Adults – Referrals can be made (on the correct referral form) into the Bladder and Bowel Care Service by any Health Care Professional or people may self-refer.
Where is the service offered?
Paediatrics – Clinics are held at the Child Development Centre, Green Lane School and Fox Wood School.
Adults – Clinics are held at Health Services at Wolves
Home visits may be available dependant upon meeting criteria.
