The Bridge Builder Community Trust Fund is the name of Bridgewater Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust’s new Grants Fund.
Bridgewater is a leading provider of community health services in the north west of England, and the Bridge Builder Community Trust Fund has been set up to raise funds to help improve the health and wellbeing of people living in the local communities.
Bridgewater believes that local communities have great ideas on how to improve people’s health and wellbeing and in so doing make their community a better place to live. Through fundraising activity and donations, the Trust Fund will provide essential resources to help turn local project ideas into reality.
The Fund is now open to community groups, voluntary and other not for profit organisations with charitable objectives based in Ashton, Leigh and Wigan, Halton and St Helens, Warrington, Bolton, Tameside, Trafford, Glossop, Stockport and Western Cheshire.
For the first round of the programme £1000 is available for distribution and groups can apply for grants of up to £250. As the fund grows Bridge Builder will increase the maximum amount available.
For this first round we want to award grants to projects that will be able to demonstrate an immediate impact. We want to be able to publicise the work of your organisation and show the benefits of small amounts of funding, which will help us attract further donations.
The Bridge Builder Community Trust Fund application process opens on Monday 18 May and the closing date for applications is Monday 1 June so please apply online now.
