Jill Harrison

Job title: Healthy Lifestyle Coach

Qualifications: Masters level executive coach with UWE; certified trainer with CIPD; trainer and master practitioner of neuro linguistic programming (NLP); Level 3 Diploma in Exercise Referral; Gym/Fitness Instructor; Exercise to music instructor (and MokyFit  instructor).

Main area of interest/expertise: Really I just love getting the most out of life, having fun and helping others do the same – laughter is wonderful for wellbeing! I most enjoy working with those hard to engage Kevin and Perry teenagers.

What I love most about my job: I work with such brilliant children and families and a fantastic team of people. We build really great relationships with our families and they know they can stay with us for support long after our programmes have finished.

An interesting or funny fact: I have an ancestor from over a hundred years ago who wrestled a bear and won (but lost the use of his arm in the process). I have another ancestor who built Kinloch castle on the Isle of Rhum.

Joanne Mangnall

Job title: Physical Activity Coach

Qualifications: Foundation degree in Health and Personal Training, degree in Sport Studies and qualified in exercise to music.

Main area of interest/expertise: I love working with children and my main focus is getting children of all ages to adapt to a healthier lifestyle by being more active in lots of fun ways and adopting healthier eating habits.

What I love most about my job: Seeing the children having lots of fun whilst getting more active and healthy at the same time!

An interesting or funny fact: Enjoy cooking, like running and love baked beans!

Gemma Holdsworth

Job title: Lead Healthy Lifestyle Coach

Qualifications: MSc Weight Management; PGDip in Health Promotion/Public Health; BSc Hons in Sport, Health, Exercise and Nutrition; Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner; Level 3 diploma in Mat Pilates.

Main area of interest/expertise: I find the behavioural/psychological side of weight management the most fascinating and interesting. Very rarely do we eat just because we’re hungry. Food and eating is so complex for many people and it’s a real challenge to support families in their journey.

What I love most about my job: I truly feel that I have the best job in the world. It is such a pleasure to work with the children and families that I do and to actually help make a difference to people’s lives. The thing that I love the most is seeing a child’s self-esteem and confidence blossom right in front of my eyes.

An interesting or funny fact: In 2006 I faced my fears and jumped out of a plane at 14,000ft and survived! (I did have a parachute!).
