CCNT – Training & Education
Our Complex Needs service provides training by experienced, registered Senior Children’s Community Nurses.
Training can be provided to parents/ carers and education staff so that everyone looking after your child understands their needs and how best to care for them.
Examples of training that can be delivered include:
- Tracheostomy care
- Gastrostomy stoma care and enteral feeding
- Administration of Oxygen
- Tracheostomy care & Airway management
- Oral and Nasal suction
- Safe management of seizures.
The CCNT Team for Complex Care is also a recognised placement for Student Nurses completing Nursing Degrees from regional Universities
