|Experience||Sue was born in Connecticut, USA and first came to the UK as a visiting student at the University of York.In 1986, after graduating from university, Sue moved permanently to the UK and began her career in management consultancy, working with the European Commission and a number of UK and European agencies and Government departments.Sue has 20 years Board-level experience as an executive and non-executive director in large, commercial and public sector organisations.She has extensive experience of leading change and delivering large programmes, meeting demanding financial, quality and regulator standards.
Sue currently runs a successful management consultancy business, Firecracker Projects Limited, which specialises in Board development. She also runs a property holding company.
Sue is a Patient Representative on the National Joint Registry, the steering committee of the expert centre for joint replacement surgery in the UK. In this role she works closely with Department of Health experts, NHS and private sector hospital Chief Executives, regulators, manufacturers, surgeons, allied health professionals and researchers.
Sue and her family have lived in the Bridgewater area for 19 years and she has a keen interest in supporting the health and wellbeing of the community.
